Salvona L.L.C. is a privately held company registered in New Jersey and founded in 1998. The company focuses on developing and commercializing a broad array of nano, sub-micron, and micro technology engineered controlled delivery systems and biodegradable devices for a wide range of commercial applications.
Strategy
Since its establishment in 1998, the holding company, Salvona L.L.C., has focused on developing new and advanced encapsulation delivery systems to overcome technology gaps in this field and develop innovative tools required to create new products. The company has established an “umbrella” of intellectual property covering a broad range of technology platforms that will provide Salvona the freedom to operate in 4 fields of applications: consumer care and cosmetics, food and nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and fabric care and household, for the next 20 years. The patent portfolio of Salvona covers both composition and application patents. The company applied for close to 100 patents (View the list of patents for more information).
Salvona’s proprietary technology platforms include nanospheres, submicronspheres, microspheres, invisible patches, and biodegradable devices.
Salvona offers services related to these advanced technology delivery systems that range from product development through commercialization and large-scale production. Through Salvona’s unique and proprietary technologies, the possibilities of developing innovative products are endless.
Structure
In August 2003, the company reorganized and Salvona L.L.C. became the holding company for four companies identified as: (1) Salvona Consumer Care L.L.C., (2) Salvona Health Care L.L.C., (3) Salvona Food and Nutraceuticals L.L.C., (4) Salvona Fabric Care & Household L.L.C.. Salvona Technologies Inc. became a research and development branch, and Salvona Intellectual Property (IP) Inc. is a holding company of Salvona’s intellectual property.
Facilities
The headquarters of Salvona is located in Dayton, Central New Jersey, 50 min South from New York City, within 10 minutes from the New Brunswick Business Center, and 20 minutes from Princeton University. We are conveniently located off exit 8A on the NJ Turn Pike. The company occupies a 10,000 SF facility that includes an office complex, state of the art QA/QC analytical laboratory, a pilot production plant, and a production facility for nanospheres. Large Scale production is outsourced to approved contract manufacturers located in New Jersey and other areas. The company has greatly developed its manufacturing capacity, and is now manufacturing a critical component for a FDA controlled high-tech medical diagnostic device. The production of this unit takes place in a clean room facility at our New Jersey location.
