MultiSal™
"MultiSal™, Salvona's multi-component delivery system, consists of solid hydrophobic nanospheres encapsulated in a water or pH sensitive microsphere. Working with a variety of ingredients can pose formulating challenges. For some treatment products, delivery is everything. MultiSal™ can deliver multiple ingredients and release them in a consecutive manner under desired circumstances such as time or temperature specific release points. With MultiSal™ you can deliver ingredients that don't normally mix well, such as water and fat soluble ingredients and release them consecutively resulting in a better overall product that consumers will respond to.
MultiSal™ is composed of microspheres with nanospheres (NanoSals™) encapsulated in water- or pH-sensitive coating in the form of a free-flowing powder. The size of microspheres can range from 10 to 300 microns.
