Introduction
Melanocytes are cells naturally produced by our body. These cells emit melanin to provide your skin and hair with its natural color. As you age, melanin production slows, and you may suffer from gray hair.
As you age, gray hair becomes more brittle and easily damaged. Increasing melanin production can restore natural hair color and vitality. So, it’s only reasonable to assume that supplying the specific nutrients known to stimulate melanin production should improve hair color.
Hair color restoration not only prevents hair from graying, but it also restores gray hair to its original color. Instead of using hair dyes, this method stimulates pigment production inside the hair shaft at the cellular level. Although it varies with each individual, color should improve after three to six months of using HydroSal®.

HydroSal® Technology
HydroSal® features submicron spheres made out of natural ingredients and infused with an HCR blend, made of HCR seed oil, tyrosine and vitamin B7. The spheres’ surface helps them adhere to the hair and scalp. The unique structure forms a slurry that is fluid and compatible with most topical formulations (Figure 2).
HydroSal® HCR is an innovative delivery system. It provides controlled release of the HCR blend for hair and scalp topical applications and rejuvenates hair follicles to produce melanin and restore natural hair color.

Functional Ingredients
A. Soybean extract, a natural source of tyrosine: L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that occurs naturally in your body and produces melanin, the pigment that determines skin and hair color. L-tyrosine taken as a supplement may help prevent graying and return hair to its original color.
Research shows that gray hair is caused by a buildup of hydrogen peroxide in the hair shaft, a natural occurrence in aging. When the hydrogen peroxide accumulates, it damages the melanin responsible for giving hair its color. The higher levels of hydrogen peroxide that occur as a result of lower levels of catalase reduce levels of tyrosine as well, inhibiting its ability to produce melanin.
B. Maitake mushroom extract as a source of vitamin B complex, especially biotin (B-7): Natural cures for grey hair include members of the vitamin B family. They are essential to producing melanin and should be a key part of any hair color restoration regimen.
C. Hemp seed oil, a natural source of omega fatty acids: Omega-3 fatty acids are believed by some to help restore hair color. These healthy fats are also found in walnuts.
